Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for booking, rescheduling, and attending lessons. By booking a lesson, students and/or parents agree to the following: 1. Lesson Booking Lessons must be booked in advance through the approved booking method (online system, email, or direct arrangement). Lesson times are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A regular weekly time slot is recommended to ensure consistency and availability. 2. Payment Terms Payment is required in advance to confirm a booking. Lessons may be paid per lesson or in blocks/monthly packages, as agreed. Unpaid lessons may be released to other students. 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. No-shows will be charged in full and are not eligible for rescheduling. Rescheduled lessons are subject to availability. 4. Teacher Cancellations If the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, a makeup lesson or credit will be offered. Every effort will be made to provide notice as early as possible. 5. Late Arrivals Lessons will end at the scheduled time regardless of late arrival. Time missed due to lateness cannot be made up. 6. Makeup Lessons Makeup lessons are offered only when proper notice is given and are subject to availability. 7. Holidays & Planned Breaks Scheduled holidays or studio closures will be communicated in advance. 8. Student Preparation & Equipment Students are expected to arrive prepared and on time. A properly functioning piano or keyboard is required for effective practice, along with a reliable internet connection and webcam/tablet. 9. Policy Changes This policy may be updated from time to time. Students will be notified of any significant changes. 10. Acknowledgment Booking a lesson indicates acceptance of this policy.
